TALKS & WORKSHOPS

Sessions built around real life and real change

Each theme can be delivered as a talk or developed into a more interactive workshop, depending on the audience, setting and the conversations you want to create.

Any of these themes can also be developed into a more interactive workshop, combining stories and practical ideas with guided reflection, discussion and actions participants can take away.

✦

Rebuilding Your Life When Everything Changes

A personal and practical talk about resilience, grief and major life change — exploring how we respond when circumstances shift, how we keep moving through difficult periods and what rebuilding can actually look like.

✦

What Grief Actually Looks Like

An honest look at the parts of grief people do not always talk about — identity, loneliness, responsibility, purpose and moving forward — helping workplaces create more human conversations around loss and difficult life events.

✦

Living Better in a World That Makes It Difficult

A practical look at food, movement, habits and stress — and the realistic everyday choices that can help people protect their physical and mental wellbeing in busy working lives.

WHY ME?

I don't talk about rebuilding life from the sidelines.

Mind Nourish grew from having to rebuild my own life after losing my wife and suddenly finding myself navigating grief while raising my sons.

Over time, that journey changed the way I thought about almost everything — food, fitness, physical health, mental wellbeing, habits, resilience and what it actually means to start moving forward again.

My talks bring those experiences together through stories, practical ideas and lessons people can apply in their own lives. I don't pretend there are easy answers, and I don't believe difficult subjects need to be wrapped in corporate language.

The aim is simple: tell honest stories, create useful conversations and give people something worth remembering — and something useful to do with it afterwards.

THE MIND NOURISH METHOD

Story → Reflect → Act → Rebuild

That structure sits behind the way I speak: start with something real, create a moment of reflection, turn it into something practical, and leave people with an idea they can act on.

WHAT YOUR PEOPLE WILL TAKE AWAY

More than an interesting session

Mind Nourish talks and workshops are designed to leave people with ideas, conversations and practical actions that continue long after the session ends.

01

A different view of resilience

A more realistic way to think about setbacks, uncertainty, difficult change and what moving forward can actually mean.

02

Practical wellbeing ideas

Simple, achievable ideas around food, movement, habits and everyday wellbeing that people can apply in real life.

03

Better conversations

A useful starting point for more open conversations about grief, stress, health, change and the difficult periods people go through.

04

Something to act on

Not another list of wellbeing theory — people leave with something concrete to reflect on and something they can do next.

WHAT TO EXPECT

No corporate fluff.

Personal stories. Practical ideas. Honesty. Humour when it's appropriate. Difficult subjects when they're needed. No pretending.

And most importantly, something useful for people to take away and apply afterwards.
